Corrections, questions about something we have written, or a note that a page is out of date — all welcome. Use the form below and we will read it.

What we cannot help with

We cannot interpret your prescription, tell you what lenses to order, or say whether a symptom matters. We are not clinicians and we cannot see your eyes. If something about your vision has changed — or if you have pain, flashes, floaters or haloes around lights — please book an appointment with an optometrist or eye doctor rather than writing to us. That is not us being cautious; it is the one thing a website genuinely cannot do.

We also do not accept guest posts, paid placements, link exchanges or product submissions, and we do not review frames.

Used only to reply to you. See our Privacy Policy.

About what you read here. Everything on The Designer Glasses is general information and our own editorial opinion. We research carefully and we say when the evidence is unclear, but we can be wrong, things change, and no article can know your particular situation. Please do your own research and make your own judgement rather than treating anything here as the final word. This is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for speaking to an optometrist, optician or eye doctor about your own eyes, vision and eyewear. We are writers and researchers, not clinicians. We do not recommend prescription treatments or give doses. If something is painful, getting worse, or worrying you, please talk to a professional — going early is not an overreaction.
